Certification & Training Program

From your first course to teaching ours.

Three levels, one method. Each step is a real qualification with its own bar to clear — not a certificate for showing up.

Level 1 · Foundations Level 2 · Advanced Bronze · validated Level 3 · Specialisation Silver · validated Trainee → Instructor
1Foundations

The in-person certification course

One full day in a city near you, taught by Sissa Germann. The 12-Season Expanded Method from the ground up: the four dimensions, personal contrast, the draping protocol, and how to deliver a result a client can actually use.

9am–7pm · one day Max 14 students In English No models to bring
  • Temperature, value, chroma and depth — what each one measures, and why they never move independently.
  • Personal contrast, measured rather than estimated.
  • The full draping protocol, practised on each other with corrections in the room.
  • Delivering the verdict: what to say, what to write down, what the client leaves with.

Leads to the Color Level certificate — Certified Consultant. Prices vary by city; see the dates below.

2Advanced

Two ways to take Level 2

Level 1 teaches the method. Level 2 is where your eye is tested against real people and corrected. Take it in the room or one-on-one online — the two routes carry the same weight.

Option 1 · in person

Advanced Workshop

9am to 1pm, the morning after your Level 1 class, capped at four students. An assessment exercise before the class, reviewed with you in person. Pattern analysis, hair and beauty. Models are provided — each student drapes their own client, not a classmate.

Option 2 · online

Developing Your Eye

One hour, one-on-one with Sissa, for analysts who cannot travel to a workshop. You bring ten clients you have draped in person and the session goes through them thoroughly, case by case — what you saw, what the drapes said, and where the eye drifted.

$750 either route Level 1 required Opens the Bronze validation

Leads to the Bronze badge. Finishing Level 2 does not award it — the badge is validated, see below.

3Specialisation

Three subjects, in depth

From January 2027, starting in New York. Three focused classes, each one a subject that a general certification can only introduce. Take one, or take all three.

The Hair Match Method

Finding the right hair direction for your client, and holding it against their season.

The Beauty Match Method

How the face aligns with color — brows, eye frame and makeup.

The Style Match Method

How style, color and personality connect, and what changes when they do.

New York · January 2027 Enrollment opens December 2026 Bronze required

Leads to the Silver badge, and completing all three opens the instructor track. Silver is validated the same way Bronze is.

The badges

All badges are earned, never handed out.

No badge here comes with attendance. Bronze and Silver are validated on work you did with real clients; the Master certification carries a validation of its own. That is exactly why they mean something to the person hiring you.

How Bronze and Silver are validated

10

Analyses, in person

After Level 2, you run ten full analyses with real clients, using the protocol you were taught.

→

Sent in for validation

You send us the results. Each one is reviewed against the method, not against a style preference.

50%

The bar

Reach fifty percent approval and the badge is yours. Fall short and you get the reading on where the eye is drifting.

After Level 2

Bronze · Professional Consultant

The point where you stop being a student of the method and start being listed as one of its practitioners.

  • An invitation into the Drops de Cor consultant network.
  • Your name featured on this site, where clients look for an analyst near them.
  • Discounts on color swatches for your client work.
  • The standing to use the Drops de Cor name with your own clients.
After Level 3

Silver · Expert Consultant

The specialisation badge. It says the eye has been tested not only on season, but on hair, on beauty and on style.

  • Validated the same way Bronze is — on work with real clients.
  • Recognition of the three Match Methods, once all three are complete.
  • The step before the instructor track.
After Level 3

The instructor track

For analysts who want to teach the method rather than only practise it. It starts once all three specialisations are done and Silver is validated.

Step one

Trainee

With Silver in hand, you join Sissa's courses as a trainee — in the room, on the other side of it, learning how the class is run and how corrections are given.

In the future

Master certification

With the master certification, you teach Drops de Cor courses yourself. It is earned the same way everything else here is — through validation, of a kind suited to teaching rather than to draping. The format is being written now; the trainee track is where it begins.

The fine print, in plain words

What the program asks of you

Drops de Cor materials, exclusively

Every consultant featured in our community works with Drops de Cor materials only — including the palettes and swatches the client takes home. It is the condition for being listed, and it is what makes a result from one analyst comparable to a result from another, in any city.

The order matters

Level 2 needs Level 1 behind it, and Level 3 needs the Bronze badge — the validated one, not just the workshop. Each step assumes the eye trained in the one before.

Classes run in English

The U.S. and Canada courses are taught in English. Classes in Brazil and Europe run in their own languages through our international store.

Start with a city.

Level 1 is one day, in person, and everything above begins there.
